do any of you use medical marijuana?
i go to aa and there are a few who believe medical marijuana is an "outside issue" and they are ok with it.
i don't know... alcohol doesn't work for me but if it did, i would use it... i wish i could find a "new drug" that works lol.

i am curious to know what sent you down the path of your current belief.. personally, i find i am going away from belief altogether...but you seem convinced that satan is the true god worth worshipping.. what was the turning point for you?
did it begin with sheer dislike for the jehovah god...that is uderstandable when you read the ot.
was it somthing about jesus?
If there is no gas, you don't get this aura (and you don't stay alive, either).
This is great news! I've got enough gas to keep me alive for 1,000 years!

i hated going from door to door.
it was really bad when the neighbors would call each other and say that we had arrived.. what pests we were!.
now, i don't bother anyone if i can help it!
Every minute of my D2D experience was filled with shame and reluctance. I especially hated it when I had to go to a door and one of my schoolmates answered. I hated every thing about field service.
check out this stonefly/salmonfly hatch on the deschutes river in central oregon.
if you are anything like me, this photo is pure pornography.

Here's a beauty of a trout (20.5") caught (and released unharmed) during this incredible hatch.

I've put it down for days and weeks at a time on several occasions. Not once have I ever experienced any withdrawals at any time. On the other hand, I've got a buddy who smokes waaaay too much. He can't seem to go more than 30 minutes without getting anxious and jumpy.
People are certainly the variable. This same friend has tried and tried to quit cigarettes as well, with no success. I quit cold-turkey, for good, after smoking daily for nearly 20 years. Granted, it was hard, but I managed to do it and stay off cigs for 7 years now. I think it's just the personality.
I think the old adage rings true with MJ: "It's not physically addictive, but it can be mentally addictive". Never heard of anyone ever going through physical withdrawals from dropping pot.

using a bong can lessen this damage.
Using a vaporizer lessens it even more! And you use much less product! Win/win!
Eating it would be my preferred method, but let's face it, that gets expensive. When you a touch a flame to the herb, the heat destroys much of the active chemical. When you vaporize, it heats the herb just to the point of vaporizing the THC. You get about 94% of the goods. Even with a joint, you only get about 38% to 45%. Also with the vaporizor, it doesn't burn the herb, so you're not inhaling the tars that hurt the lungs. Wheeeeeeee!
I live in Washington State. It's pretty much legal here, for most intents & purposes.

But until you do, maybe keep your judgements to topics with which you have some actual experience.
Why ? Everyone else here are letting there feelings known and so am I, that's what this board is about.
You're right. You have every right to say whatever you like in regards to any topic. I was in the wrong & I apologize.
Sizemik said it much better here:
Being "good for you" is relative. I doubt there is a "legal" pharmaceutical that is 100% "good for you". All have side-effects, some of which can be extremely harmful. But they are utilised simply because their absence would cause greater harm. Thalidomide was legal . . . and touted as good for you. Wonderful cure for morning sickness . . . shame about the side-effects. I've been legally prescribed drugs that have almost killed me.
Legality is a poor way of establishing what is harmful and what is not . . . it may be time to drop the notion.
MJ is illegal in NZ . . . no medical concessions. I won't bore you with my state of health . . . but I grow my own and use it on a regular basis . . . as do my wife and 2 of my 3 grown children (the other doesn't like the effect). The medical benefits are manifest, and I also enjoy the narcotic effect . . . without feeling guilty about it.
I don't drive while heavily influenced and don't drink alcohol. All my family are responsible users. If people wan't to be dangerous and irresponsible . . . it doesn't matter how they gas their tank.
I would say that the pharmaceutical companies have a large stake in this . . . it's too easy to supply yourself, and is too good as a medicine.
Trust Uncle Carl . . . not the Govt.

I grew up with the notion and still maintain the notion that illegal drugs are not good for you
And the legal ones are??? True, many if not most of the street narcotics out there are pretty bad for your health, both physical and mental. Many if not most of the FDA-approved drugs are too.
which is why I've never used
Great! I can't imagine anyone wanting to force you to smoke pot. But until you do, maybe keep your judgements to topics with which you have some actual experience.
my undisputed hero of the bible is known by several names, depending on who you talk to...devil, satan, lucifer, etc.. read it, and you'll find that he was the only one who really stood up for you.. he asserted that you could make decisions for yourself...and told you the very real truth that, just because the piece of meat in your chest stops thumping, you positively do not 'die'.. he was your hero.
he stood up to a daddy-maniac and said, 'just because you made us doesnt mean you have the right to tell us what to do.
i thought we were free?'.
Nice job. I'd say that was a well articulated answer. Good thing belief in God is no longer a legal issue. (Although, I fear in this country, there are many who would like to make it a legal issue.)
